- Residency- trained at Fromer Eye Centers in New York City in Ocular Disease to care for patients of all ages. Areas of focus include: pre- and post-op surgical management, refractive surgery management, pediatrics, low vision rehabilitation, contact lenses, custom and specialty contact lenses, InfantSEE(R) eye exams, dry eye diseases, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye exams, myopia management, binocular vision disorders and preventive eye health care
- Trained at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in California, Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minnesota, Whiteriver Indian Hospital on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona, University Eye Center at the Southern California College of Optometry in California, Fromer Eye Centers in New York
- 6+ years as a C-level Executive at a multi-location, multi-specialty ophthalmology private practice with an ambulatory surgery center that served underserved populations in New York City and Westchester and helped create career pathways and opportunities for those ranging from high school students to doctorates
- Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor who trained over 15 optometric residents in a nationally accredited residency program at the only OD/MD private practice in New York State affiliated with SUNY College of Optometry; reputation for training "the whole" doctor at their highest clinical and professional levels with awareness of the communities they serve and their contribution to the healthcare system
- Past-President of the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA) and serves in multiple leadership positions, at the local, state and national levels with advocacy, innovating care and mentorship of future generations through the lens of advancing health equity as core principles

- Has won several awards for her advocacy, leadership and patient care, including Newsweek’s America Best Eye Doctors where she was ranked by peers and industry as the Top Optometrist in the Bronx, Top 10 in New York City and New York State (2021-2023)
- Has lectured locally and nationally on topics related to her training and clinical experience, as well as being invited as a guest speaker for many organizations, including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, SUNY College of Optometry, SUNY Downstate Heath Sciences University, University of Pikeville College of Optometry, and various state optometric associations

- Enjoys exploring the world, learning the "whys" of life and discovering curious oddities and new hobbies with her husband, family and friends; most grateful to be called "Mommy" and re-experience life through the eyes of her three wonderful children
